Another Tale from the Paper Royals

BBG and Vee5 are back for another round of play, this time reimagining the classic tale of Red Riding Hood through their own world of role play, mischief, and expression. Created by WINNIEYIPPIE and VYNC, toy designers and illustrators from Singapore, the deck continues the Paper Royals universe first introduced in 2024. Known for their collaborations with global brands such as Mercedes Benz, Levi’s, Riot Games, Secret Fresh, and MediaCorp, as well as solo shows around the world, the duo brings their signature charm and storytelling into another fully illustrated Bicycle deck.

Bicycle Paper Royals Red Riding Hood unfolds like a tiny comic book hidden inside a deck of cards. Across forest paths, flying bread, playful chases, sneaky disguises, and wide-eyed reactions, BBG and Vee5 turn the classic tale into their own colorful game of pretend. Each card captures a small moment from the story, creating an illustrated adventure that collectors can follow, piece together, and enjoy anywhere in the world.


Flip the Tale, Swap the Roles

In this version of Red Riding Hood, BBG and Vee5 do not stay in just one role for long. One side of the deck follows Vee5 in the little red hood and BBG in wolf mode, while the other side turns the story around, letting BBG wear the hood and Vee5 take on the wolf’s ears.

The fun is in how the tale changes depending on where you begin. Forest paths twist, baskets tumble, bread goes flying, and the two characters chase, tease, and surprise each other from one scene to the next. As the cards come together, the deck reveals two playful versions of the same story, meeting in the middle through a clever visual centerpiece that can be flipped, followed, and discovered from both sides.

Proudly carrying the Bicycle name, this deck is officially licensed and printed by the United States Playing Card Company, the world’s leading maker of playing cards since 1885. Each card is produced on classic Bicycle stock and finished with the brand’s signature Air-Cushion Finish for smooth handling, reliable performance, and the familiar glide trusted by collectors and players worldwide.

The tuck box keeps the role-swapping fun going before the cards are even opened. One front cover shows BBG in wolf mode with Vee5 as Red Riding Hood, while the opposite cover flips the play, with Vee5 taking the wolf’s grin and BBG wearing the little red hood. Finished with a subtle texture inspired by Bicycle’s Air-Cushion Finish, the box adds a playful tactile touch and wraps the whole story from the outside in.
