Back by popular demand! Our First Edition of "Republic," a custom playing card deck based on Finnish/Nordic folk art and design, sold out so fast after it was featured in WSJ Magazine, that we decided to create a special Second Edition for this deck. This Second Edition of "Republic" has a new tuck box design, joker, and Ace of Spades, and most importantly to us, it is a peaceable kingdom – all of the Kings are holding flowers instead of weapons.
"Republic" is named for the town where our studio is located, and this town is home to a large Finnish community in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We are excited to have a deck that bears the name of this local community that we love so much, and we cannot wait to share this Second Edition with you when it arrives at the studio in June!
