Mayan and Aztecs are well-known astrologers and their calendar is popular in prophecy too! For a long time even now, they worshipped a feathered serpent KUKULKAN as their creator, also known as Kukulcán or Quetzalcoatl in Aztecs, and it is said Kukulkan also called 'THE VISION SERPENT', he serves as a messenger of the highest god, to guide and warn people about the future ~

😆 When I was visiting Chichén Itzá, not just what they built, I was also shocked by their stories of how they passionate about the Future & Universe! (🥰Thanks Carlos ~ You are such an amazing teacher rather than a tour guide for me! Every story from your mouth was inspiring ~) The fact is even though Mayan were in a hard time they still had a solid faith in themselves, in the Universe! Can we? Faith in the future is the key to keep us alive; lead us forward; make us better! Hahahaha I can say this is the most challenging part in this project ~ 😜The card backs of Kukulkan carry multiple printing effects 🤩🤩🤩, such as Foiling, Metallic Gold Printing, Grunge background and even spot UV! All these effects are designed on just 2.5" x 3.5" cards with highly detailed ancient Mayan graphics! Bravo ~ I can imagine tons of work to do in production ... lol 😆

Cool & Gorgeous are the DNA of 'EYE' version cards back 😎! It is inspired by the stone-carving graphics of Kukulkan temple but made in super cool GOLDEN-BLACK style!

Poker cards are a little bit tricky 😒... My Charmie cat 🐱 keeps pushing me to use her face in Kukulkan decks but I really couldn't find any trace of a furry cat in ancient Mayan history... After days and days of her meowing and torturing, I've decided to use her ancestor-a-like, the JAUGAR! Hopefully she will leave me alone...😝
